Hi Addicks, looking forword to our first ever game. I understand we have given you an extra 250 so I hope you alll enjoy yourselves.

    For Sat Navers:

    Our Mutual Friend: SG2 8EH (0.3m <10mins)
at least 6 Real Ales, limited food (Rolls, Pies Crisps)

    OLD Town: SG1 1PF (2.2m from ground 25mins)
    10 + pubs including Weatherspoons

    Town Centre: SG1 1BP (1.4m from ground 15/20m)
    Weatherspoons and Hogshead

    Leisure Park: SG1 2UA (1.4m from ground 15/20m)
    Frankie & Bennies, Chiquitos, KFC, McD's Nando's

    From the train Station:

You can either turn left on the footbridge and you are in the Leisure Park (unless you want a feed don't bother) or right and you are in the Town Center. My suggestion would be grab a cab to the OMF.

There are no pubs on the way other than the aforementioned, but you do pass an Asda if you want a few cans - walking 20 mins well signposted.

    Driving:

There is a large free Car Park opposite the ground call Fairland Valley Show ground, its signposted as soon as you leave the A1 on jnct7. I would suggest park up and head for the Mutual - 10 mins walk. if you decide to drive straight to the Mutual and are early they will have no problem you leaving your vehicle in the car park, but it's limited space.

Please note, there is a Travelling Fair arrived that has sited itself on the showground, this may make parking tricky and very limited. Opposite is a large retail park. The warnings are not to park there as you may be clamped, but off the record I have heard many do park there with no issues. I leave that up to you.

The Club house is open to away fans and whilst it was home only for Sheff Weds, I have heard nothing suggesting this for saturday

OMF is the most popular for footy fans. Plastic glasses I'm afriad but great Ale and OB will make a friendly appearence every so often. Away fans are very welcome and it's normally a good friendly atmosphere.

    Enjoy your visit:emoticon-0100-smile

Thank you. I got up early to research this as I have a day off. Now I don't need to. Joy of joys. this is what this Forum should be about, not fantasy island dream world for those who need to get out more. Clearly usi ng Bank Station is not o your agenda either lol

Charltonutut, I find the result always helps to improve or depress a day depending. As they turned over Wednesday I am hoping for the best rather than expecting it.

Proper lol at that one. Also wondering where teh other station is. As someone else quoted there are trains from Moorgate, but its much quicker from Kings X. 19mins on the straight through.

Finally, dont take to heart the "you used to be someone", "Same league as Stevenage, your in the same league as Stevenage", "Premiership your F*** it up" etc. Its our own way of showing respect for the big boys in this division and we are oh so proud to have you at our humble ground.

Rochdale, Scunny and Bournmouth have had no such pleasure, they just got "we used to be Non-league" for 15 minutes:emoticon-0150-hands
