<peacedove>Steven Piennar was red carded against QPR he is surely going to miss the merseyside derby
on Sunday 28/10/12, that is the good news. The bad news is that Fellaini is likely to be rushed back.
We have injuries of our own including the following:
    1.Reina
    2. Borini
    3.Kelly
    4.Lucas.
Hopefully Reina is going to be fit for the derby.

Fellaini is **** anyway, no biggie if he plays.

I kinda hope Jones plays midweek and builds on the Reading game; finally give some competition to Pepe and get him to step his game up. He's unbelievably slack lately and doesn't fill me with confidence.

Gibson is a bigger miss than Fellaini due to lack of cover to be honest.

Wasn't Lucas scheduled to come back late October? Any word on how his doing and what he's now expected back?

Think they are taking their time with Lucas after he came back and caught another injury.

Not so sure about that, I am not his biggest fan but I think he could physically dominate against rather lightweight midfield.

  8. I'll be more concerned if Felliani is pushed forward, not bothered by him at CM

I agree he's hard work as a forward, average in midfield.

I seem to remember Fellaini played well against Utd.
I wouldn't dismiss him- he's not the most cultured but his physical presence can cause problems.

Agreed. Plus he might not look cultured next to a Silva or Mata but he's been as impressive a "prem" midfielder as anyone so far this year. What with the certainty we'll get nothing from the ref tomorrow afternoon its an absolute certainty him and Jelavich will cause us problems. Let's hope we handle him better than the manks did <ok>

I would play Brad Jones, as he deserves a run of games.

Felliani is only dangerous at set pieces but skrtel normally does well against him

    This^

I'd say if we keep Fellaini and Jelavich quiet, we should be able to get something from this game. I've had a bad feeling about this game for a while, but I hope I'm mistaken. I also hope we can keep up our run of wins -- we really need them!

As a neutral I'm expecting Liverpool to have more possession and perhaps even the better of the game overall, but I'd back Everton to get at least a draw and perhaps nick the win.

I just see Jelavic Vs Jones at one end of the pitch and then Suarez Vs Howard at the other end and see Everton coming up trumps. Suarez is clearly the better player but his conversion rate isn't what it should be. Anyhoo, should be a grand match - I live in Aigburth so I'll probably be in the Fulwood Arms watching it unfold!
