So here is a quote you'll love. I think we can safely say that this advice will be followed...

    Or not.

Forger Roy and Rodgers. Waddle is clearly the true tactical master!!!

To be fair he couldn't be any worse than he has been in midfield this season.

If Joe Hart gets injured Gerrard can go in goal.

Surely if they want him to change positions then the most obvious one to do is make a all out striker?

So We'll replace Carragher who looks up and hoofs to the front with Gerrard who will look up and hoof it to the front? Ok He'll ne more accurate but if he cant help himself in midfield it'll not change in defence lol.

But at least we'll not have to worry about him bothering to get back when we lose the ball as he'll already be there.

Interesting concept. Gerrard CAN play the ball. It's not as if he's technically inept - but it's his impatience and lack of tactical awareness to some degree which is letting him down.

But as mentioned earlier - would rather see him playing at the false 9.

  9. Although I think Gerrard could do a job there, would he be better than Skrtel, Agger, Coates and Kelly? Would it hamper the latter twos development, Wisdom too? It would make more sense to push him forward but I'm not overly keen on that either because he would come deep for the ball all the time.

It actually suggests that he should play there for England.

People seem to be seeing Terry's international retirement as a defensive crises even though we have Cahill, Lescot, Jagielka, Dawson, Caulker, Kelly, Jones, Smalling and Richards.

  11. I realise that but:

    1) England get on my nerves (and yes, I'm English)

    and

    2) If he's not playing there for Liverpool, he shouldn't be doing for England either <ok>

Edit: And I agree with the other bit too <ok>
