So what is your favourite Steven Gerrard moment...? What one moment stands out most in his career in your mind...?
The best moment for me is that goal against Olympiacos. Yes, he's scored better goals (unbelievably) and yes, he's played in more important and bigger games too. But for me, the words he said prior to the game, what that game meant, the timing of the goal and the path that game set us on is unbeatable.
Goes without saying..... With his 60 yard sprint down the pitch, complete with knee slide in front of the Park End post the last minute 'winner' at Goodison the other year a close second. He was right in line with my seat and his face was a ****ing picture please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image

Not the most important by any means, but his dipping half volley from 30 yards out into the corner against Middleborough is one that I'll always remember. Just think it's an absolutely stunning goal. Most important? 3 stand out don't they... Olympiakos, Milan & West Ham. It's a bit of a shame that when you think of Gerrard the 4 things that'll spring to mind are "only" those 3 goals and the slip... he should be remembered for so much more in terms of leading us to victories and cups but he's just not had the personnel to help him achieve it.
Another few vids for the list My favourite moment of his career....tough one, the FA Cup Final was a complete game from him and his performance against Real at home one of the best I've ever seen but for me it is (and always will be) this: please log in to view this image
The goal in the FA Cup final - to take the game to extra time/penalties? The sheer audacity to take the shot from that distance ... unbelievable.
