Played very well for you this season. What do you think are the chances of keeping him, SSN have reported your manager wants to get both him and Sigurdsson back. Personally, I'd quite like to see him integrated into our first team now

Would love him to stay with us for another season, but somehow I think redknapp will him to play a role in spurs for next season.

    Hi 92,

i think it will all come down to how much game time he is going to get as this year he has basically played every minute that he has been available (injury/parent company game).

he is not going to want to sit on the bench when he has basically played all year this year. this could be the deciding factor, we would gladly take him off your hands for a small fee by all means.

Does redknapp think he is good enough would of thought so, good enough for champions league this could go our way for another years development. good luck for saturday although you arent playing (Bayern Fans all over north london)<whistle>

Oh yes, very very supporting the Germans :) Wouldn't mind him being on loan to a club like yourselves again. He played well, and as you said got loads of game time. He probably isn't CL standard at the moment, but certainly can do a job in EPL

He's been a rock in defence for us (and thats not demeaning the rest of the back four (got to include Vorm) he'll be around for a long time I'm sure .Probably his worst game was v Wolves @ home but he was playing out on the right and out of his comfort zone.I and many others would love to see him back next year ,He's a long way off the finished article but I can see a great future for him and we can take a certain pride that we've helped in his development

I'd personally rather keep him than Siggy. Give me a solid centre-half partnership with him and Williams over a goalscoring midfielder any day.

I doubt it though. Sicknote Dawson is up to his old tricks and Caulkers proved he can defend against the top sides this season. 'Arry will want him back.

I agree - I love SIggy but CB comes first in my book. Would be great if Caulker is loaned to us again but if not that would be my first signing position wise. Absolutely essential to get it right imo.

Oh and yes, Caulker could definitely do a job for Spurs, unfortunately for us. :(

But if caulker doesn't stay we need 2 players at that position as I am sorry Monk is not good enough now to play there, I am sure he realises that as we got to go forward as a club.

  9. Congratulations on a great first season in the PL: really enjoyed watching your team!!

Now the bad news...... Pretty certain that Caulker will play a significant role back at White Hart Lane in 2012/13.

    Good luck next season!

He deserves his shot mate, but we can hope he will come back to us. Question for you though, do you really need him back ?

Bassong is heading back to WHL too so maybe he's not as far up the pecking order as we think. Especially as they spunked £8m on Bassong.

Bassong will probably be sold in the summer, especially if we sign Vertonghen. He'll be fairly cheap I'd have thought, and can play both centrally and on the left, worth a punt for a PL team?

We haven't got a spare like him, although he might be up for loan again, noone is sure yet. What we do have spare probably, is a Mr. Harry Kane
