If Bruce left - which i think unlikely - he'd be my preference. He's been my first choice every time a manager has left since Taylor.

I can't see SB leaving, but if he did then SM would be a good replacement.

You've highlighted another plus there, we'd only need to change 1 letter on all his training kit.

Bruce back to his hometown club and Mclaren back to his 'local' club, sound like a good deal to me.

Newcastle aren't going to interested in Bruce, his record in the past year has been dreadful.

The only way I see us sacking Bruce is if we get a new owner, and by then Mclaren might already have a new job. Although Allam is a lying prick I believe him when he says that he won't sack Bruce.

Think the PL is waking up to the fact that SB is great at championship level ( and that why I hope he stays) but struggle's at this level.

If we go down Bruce needs to stay but if we stay up then maybe it's time to think about a new direction. Bruce doesn't look healthy either a lot of the time so it makes you wonder if the job is a bit much for him these days. I'm happy if he does stay but indifferent if he leaves, could work both ways but there is no point getting rid of him if we go down especially for someone like Mclaren who had his day years ago

McLaren hasn't done enough in England recently for me. I don't know who as an alternative.

I haven't enjoyed anything about this season - from day one the football has been dreadful. With good players too.

The players are the issue this season not so much the manager, several of them have been a disgrace. Maybe they thought the FA CUP final would get them moves then threw in the towel, especially the likes of Davies

It was after the Burnley game when SB came on RH and said that the team had basically frozen on the day, this to me, was one hell of a statement coming from an experiences PL manager, it was at this point I'm started to think what the hell going on in the dressing room, that the manager cant motivate the team for what was our biggest match of the season, has he lost the dressing room, at the Arsenal match I noticed him shouting instruction at Huddlestone and was just ignored, I just think that he struggles to manage some of these big time Charlie's and maybe it time he developed a "nasty bastard" side to his management skill's and stopped having his favourite's.

Allardyce No.1 with Brownie back as his No.2 would be my preference. McClaren or McCarthy not a bad 2nd options.

Bruce will stay though - and he'll have a lot of making up to do to get the old team spirit back.

What you got to ask yourselves is what type of player would the next manager bring in? Most of our squad are players that play for Bruce not city! He is the reason we have jelly, Dawson, Diame etc. if Bruce went who would SM be able to encourage to come & play at hull?
