Mclaren has realised he'll never fill the legendary Brian Cloughs boots. In fact who could? SAF is half the manager Clough was in his prime, Bill Shankley perhaps but few others come close to achieving what Cloughie did with Forest!
Whilst I appreciated Bill Shankly was revered by Liverpool supporters and many others, Bob Paisley achieved far more than Shanks ever did but doesn't get the kudos. But I agree Cloughie was a one off you have to pity Nigel Clough for having to live in his dad's shadow most of his footballing life.
