MacLaren gets sacked at a club with quite a bit of money, and having brought a few people in loses to CHs Brum who are playing in Europe aswell as in ENgland and haven't got any money and a owner in jail in Hong Kong

Hughton's doing brilliantly, barely signed anyone and lost their two best players (amongst others) doing well in the league and won the other day in Europe.

Love Hughton - just think, he didn't even want to be a manager couple years ago!

IMO Hughton will be back in the prem soon. Maybe with brum or possibly Blackburn. You wonder why Blackburn didn't get him, he would have done well for them. I think apart from Blackburn no other team will be looking for a new manager anytime soon. Only 1 sacking all season I predict. Unless sunderland keep messing up, but I think they'll get their **** together sooner rather than later.

Thought Derbyshire would bang them in for Forest like.

Used to be a nippy little player for Blackburn when given a chance

Wouldn't like to see CH managing Sunderland anyway.

Surely he would reject their approach out of loyalty to us

Defo, he's not the sort to go and manage an old clubs rivals.

Yeah. On NufcTV, Andy Woodman (goalkeeper coach) said he would never go to Sunderland now he has been here. Said he feels like an adopted Geordie and was jumping around the room when Norwich scored against them haha

Majority of our current team/squad would turn them down I think

After the loyalty he was shown by the Newcastle United board?

I think not - Chris Hughton owes us nothing.

Loved it when I saw Birmingham's comeback today, but I have to say I feel bad for McClaren in a way, really hoped Forest'd be his chance to prove he could cut it in England again after the Wolfsburg disaster.
Hughton's got a ridiculous task on his hands at the moment, Birmingham are still in the CC aren't they?! Don't envy the man but am delighted with how he's doing at the minute.

Love Hughton, was fantastic here and he deserves better than he has at the moment. My only concern is his reserved nature may hold him back in terms of clubs going for him. Very surprised at lack of interest after his ridiculous sacking here. Felt for sure clubs would just look and think "what has he actually got wrong?". It seems his face doesn't fit because he's not A list. Very good manager who is learning all the time.
