Seriously, it's becoming laughable now that this guy genuinely thinks he can become a top class manager. He really needs to walk away, and while many are condemning the Blackburn fans' behaviour at the Bolton match last night, I reckon he's being selfish by clinging onto the job when the football club is crashing and burning around his ears. The football club is always bigger than any individual, and I think he needs to realise this. I understand some people aren't quitters but it's going beyond a joke down there, now.

I do think that when fans start becoming abusive towards a manager on a personal level it's gone too far, and I hope this wasn't the case last night, but off what I can gather it was mainly just football related chanting.

    Thoughts?

Steve Kean is the most punchable face ever lol.

I remember him last season vs Everton at Goodison when they lost their, he was bragging about how they had more freekicks and Corners than Everton. <doh>

Booed him, unfurled a few banners, then the pundits sat there going on about how unacceptable it all was, and loads of patronising ****s start making out they know what's going on at Blackburn better than the fans do.

    The worlds hardest question:

Who is the worst manager, Steve Kean or Joe Kinnear?

Thought Blackburn fans said they weren't going to protest again until after Christmas?
Blackburn are in real trouble and it would probably be best of Kean to go but as a Blackburn fan I'd be worried who the Venkys tried to replace him with.

To be fair to Steve Kean, he has to miss training every few weeks to fly to bloody India...

What is this ridiculous notion football fans have that it's ALWAYS the manager's fault. Successful companies barely ever do the same thing, they sack the useless drones.

Blackburn have a terrible squad, what is he supposed to do? Who would look good with that team? And don't say Sam because I reckon Sam would struggle with these contraints.

It's not like he's doen a Bruce, spent big and assembled and average squad...

I think it's unfair to just jump on the bandwagon and assume he's shocking. I mean, I don't see many saying "he could have played this formation, he could have done that", mainly because he doesn't have the players to play any other way... How can we really judge his ability? Especially when it's the players who switch off and play crap... I put it to you that nobody can look good while this is occurring.

I watched the Blackburn vs Bolton game, Blackburn had the whole team between Davies and the net, but he still scored... You think Kean has been telling them to stand-off, or Morten Gamst to tackle like his leg is broken? Blackburn fans have had an agenda against him all season, before the ineptitude of the team was even obvious, and I think they've taken it too far when the team needed support.

Having said that, I expect kean to be sacked or resign, this is modern football. The players are never at fault.

The players need to have a long hard look at themselves, they looked so lazy last night it was beyond belief. At the end of the day tho, the manager signed most of these players....

As much as i think Kean should walk away, the fans should boo the players just as much, they're on the pitch for the 90 mins and it's their job to get points and goals, which they clearly aren't doing.

If Blackburn fans finally get the owners to listen, then who do they think will come in to replace Kean? I can't see them getting anyone with a great record. They're a club in trouble and it's sinking fast.

    *cough* no he didn't *cough*

Most of those players are the aging remnants of what was there three/five years ago. Of what he has signed, Goodwillie put in a stonker of a ball in, and Chris Samba (not his signing) f-ed it up...
The Venkey's have promised the earth, but given him nothing to spend.

All involved have there part to play in this mess:

    1) The supporters shouldn't be protesting/ booing or doing there banners during the game. It's not going to help the team is it.

2)Keane the man should have walked a long time ago, watching the team they aren't backing him. They shouldn't have needed an motivation going into that game. It was a derby and there battling to save their premiership status, but were piss poor the first half.

    3) The owners, christ I thought Fat Mike was bad but these guys take the piss to new levels. Looking at Fat Mike he isn't doing such a bad job, still manages to piss us of frequently.

The way the fans rushed to the front of the stand over the tunnel to hurl abuse at Keane as he went down, throwing scarves and season tickets was a bit bad.
It only takes one idiot to go to far, and unless he goes soon something nasty will happen.

He's not going to walk, he's due £3m or similar if he gets sacked. I certainly wouldn't walk away from that.

JPF is right, he inherited a woeful Allardyce team with Hoilett and maybe Samba as decent players, the rest is full on relegation fodder. He didn't get the money the Venkys promised when making ludicrous boasts of Beckham and Ronaldinho, so what in the world is he meant to do? It'll be the second time Fat Sams gone before his team gets relegated if you ask me.

I'd really begin to feel sorry for Blackburn then.
