Taking Charlton to an industrial tribunal for unfair dismissal. I doubt if Slater will take this lying down, so we could be in for a bit of mud-slinging over how Charlton has been run. It's a bit unsavoury to be washing our dirty linen in public, but it could be bloody interesting.

It says in that article in the Sun that Peter Varney has settled with the Club,he hasn't.Rick Everett as well as Steve Kavanagh have also claims against the Club. The truth will come through eventually.

Yeah it will be very interesting, one thing is abundantly true, all dogs will turn on each other eventually.

If I was a betting man I imagine a confidentiality clause will be stuck on any settlements.

This is the Sun you are talking about a newspaper with a world wide reputation for veracity and honest reporting.

If these so called senior managers are taking the club to tribunal or court for wrongful dismissal it is clear that they are badly advised. The truth is that this stays on your employment record every time you apply for a job (ask Curbs) and unless you take it through court, rather than a tribunal, your damages are limited.

Most senior managers leave and negotiate a compromise agreement rather than throw a hissy and take their employers to court.
Whatever the truth of the matter this is sad for the club and for the departing executives who believe they are bigger than the club and want to bring the club down.
It could be argued that the course of action taken by these so called martyrs is tantamount to signing on at Selhurst Park.
As supporters of the club where should our loyalty lie?
