Foley is a ****ing excellent coach, But also a true Town and Col who Legend.

I thought Rob Butler was a cert, With Delia's mum moving into to the technical directors position.

Poor old Guru, you are seemingly incapable of interesting or informative posts and your pathetic attempts at wummery show you failing spectacularly in that form too!

All in all, you're pretty talentless! Must try harder! <doh>

right, well i was preparing my self to try and write a positive piece this morning but as soon as i read that steve foley is coming back i've thrown that out of the window. guru might think he's an 'excellent coach' but i wonder if he's ever worked with him or even seen him in action cos i have and i am seriously fuming about this. it's the old boys act in full swing and this is now a disaster waiting to happen. he was a liability when he worked here before and i bet he still is.

not happy at all. this is going to go wrong very, very quickly.

Just read that alongside working with Ipswich's academy, he's been coaching at Needham Market.

Nice to see we're going for high quality personnel again. <doh>

McNally's "best in class" comments are looking even more bloody stupid.

When he was giving that very candid interview to Chris Goreham 2 or 3 months ago, he suggested it would be "delinquent" of the board not to have a fallback option should Hughton fail to achieve acceptable results.

Surely the appointments of Adams and Foley is the most 'delinquent' thing he's ever been involved in during his five years at the club? <yikes> <doh>

Only positive from this is he cannot be as bad as our previous coaching set up of Calderwood and Trollope!

What's your reasons for doubting him Supers? There's clearing something more than a hunch behind it.

i have worked with him. i was amazed when ipswich took him on and even more so when the very talented bryan klug did so too, but i doubt they will have tried to prevent him leaving. i'd take klug off their hands but foley is not a good coach and if we have any aspirations of getting back to the top flight the likes of foley are a big 'no no'. he should be looking to bring in someone younger and more talented. honestly, appointing foley is embarrassing. i really mean that.

Why isn't he a good coach Supers?
Is it his ideas or his methods?
    Can he communicate at all?

I didn't even feel this down when we got relegated, in fact I was looking forward to the things to come. But now... Yesterdays news and now this, it feels worse than relegation.

It's like our club isn't even trying.
