The highlight of the game against Bournemouth for me (and there weren't very many) was seeing Steve Finnieston grab the microphone from the matchday announcer and then he went on to tell us about all his Chelsea supporting mates in the Matthew Harding Stand. Great to see so many ex Chelsea players over the years at half time still having strong connections with the club.
Brings back some good memories Bristol. His time with us straddled my last few years in school and first few years of going out into the big bad world. Remember him scoring against Liverpool in the cup the year we also beat them in the league. They were European Champions and in their pomp at the time. There were a lot of bleak years for us around that time but results like that kept your spirits up !
