    This is a manager i would like to be involved with us if cp moves on in the near future.Done wonders with Crawley ok hes got a bit of a past with Boston a few years back ,but i think hes a brilliant manager,my mate steve knows him quite well and says hes well respected in the game.Love to bring him to charlton in some capacity what do fans think???my last thread of the day/

    Read Tewks post on Di Canio. It mentions the Crawley manager. Lost 6-0 at the weekend did'nt they ?

    from what i gather from steve i know who knows him very well he was fitted up what i here and he proved them wrong at time got a good lawyer you must admit all hell hes doing a fine job now with crawley taking them up from southern league to league two and thats not bad record.Ive asked steve to set up a meeting for me with evans next time hes in london and i judge him when meet him then,but i take on what people have said about him ive only been getting good vibes from people who know him thats all he might have changed?ill keep everyone informed

    i didnt say replacement for powell ,what i said bring steve evans in some capacity what was worrying me several championship clubs are thinking about sacking their boss ie bristol city and leicester and coventry ,whats worrying me is that we are doing well and clubs will make cp an offer thats for sure hes done a brilliant job so far rebuilding the team and up to 2nd if powell does get offered a new job during the season we dont want be left in the lurch which has happened to several clubs last year ie barnet with allen.we got have a back up plan just in case powell gets approached -my question if that happened who would u like as a replacement hense why brought steve evans name up sorry didnt word email properly
