That likeable fellow, Steve Evans, made me laugh on the Football League Show on Saturday. Manish, the most wooden of football programme presenters, asked Evans if he would take the Leeds manager job, which is vacant yet again. With a broad grin, he said he would not! This is the same Steve Evans who in August, criticised Keiran Agard publicly, for choosing a transfer to Bristol City over one to Leeds United. Evans said then that he did not understand why Agard chose City rather than the big club up the road from Rotherham. What a t**t the man is!
Why would Steve Evans want to go to Leeds, a club constantly on the decline with a crazy owner who describes managers as water melons? Evans would be stupid to even contemplate going to Leeds, let alone do it.
I blame Lanny as well. But who in their right mind would join an owner that's sacked 36+ managers in 20 years? He won't let the manager choose the players! Bet Leeds are so glad that they've got him now.
