What's the word, is he on his way to us or what? He was left out of the game last Tuesday for 'tactical reasons' but I'm cynical about that because it's a usual tell, tell sign that a transfer is imminent? Any good reliable source info about it lads?
You would be lucky to have him. I **** you not he's better than wood But unfortunately there's no truth in it http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Bris...-loan-rumour/story-17731897-detail/story.html
Cheers Shiny, I read that report the other day and posted on our board that it must be true if they've denied it. Bournemouth did the exact same thing on both occasions when we bought McQuoid & Feeney off them over the last two seasons. His goals to games ratio is very good almost 1 in 2 (8 in 18)
Can't see us selling Davies. The only reason he doesn't get in our side is because hes not fully fit. Think of ledley King. Can play one game but not the next. Its the problem we have with SD but he is an amazing striker and its a shame he can't have a 15-20 game run out.
Davies is due to have a medical on Monday - if he's as unfit as the worzels say, then it will be a no go - was supposed to have a medical on Wednesday but the club doctor was sick
If we sell Davies, that will remove a very large pillar of my support for DM, he's a cut above most of what we have here....
If he is going it must be an offer too good to turn down as when fit he is one of the best strikers in the league and yes he would do even better in a team that could create more
Alright worzel slag Careful you don't open a can of worms Wall abuse that you might only just about survive to tell the tale about!
Davies would be the last person in our current set up that I would want to leave, especially at this crucial time of the season. If we have a superstar already lined up to replace him then I'll shut up, but I'll wager good money that we dont - this is Bristol City after all. The next 3-4 weeks are critical for the support of the team and the whole management structure at the club are now under the microscope if these rumours are true, so we'll see if their desire to survive in this league is evident to the fans by the end of it. If we have failed in our quest to bring in quality players by the end of the transfer window, especially in the key positions that everyone knows about and which we have discussed to death, in order to to try and address our relegation fears then my support of Del will be gone, as will he I reckon. It's approaching make of break time for me.
In a word - No! http://www.newsatden.co.uk/11484-millwall-go-back-to-the-drawing-board-in-striker-search.html
