QUOTE=QPR Matt;2957484]What happens when Hodgson gets back off his Summer break...?[/QUOTE] He'll be back 19 June!
yeah, that's what I thought too when I read the story. We were all so happy when he joined West Ham, we thught he'd help tighten the defence but instead they got worse (which we didn't think was possible). Riding on the wings of his association with Mourinho.
I remember when Brendon Rodgers joined Reading and they were all saying 'he must be good he worked with Mourinho' and he was rubbish there and got sacked. Just because you work with someone good doesn't mean that you are as good. It also helps if you have good players as well.
So, just the Scum and the Swans manager less now. Can't say any of the appointments so far have me thinking that any of the clubs involved will be hugely better as a result. Good.
This reminded me of when we got Stewart Houston as manager on the strength of his role as George Graham's 'cone man' at Arsenal training sessions. What a mistake that was!
They all can't be relegation certainties can they West Brom, Norwich, Swansea Jacks, Wigan, West Ham, Saints, Reading...where are we in the melee? Why are we never mentioned?? I am beginning to look forward to next season...am I being stupid?
7 teams are shorter than us to go down Bethy, the bookies fancy us for a good season & they're never wrong! http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation
