Apparently we are doing well of late because we have a spread of goals across the team, and not just one or two players scoring all the goals for us. That statement is probably less true of Hull than any other team in the country. Who does his research?
I couldn't believe he said that. What's worse is that he said it was Damian Johnson who noticed this, isn't he meant to be a City fan? They've literally just looked at the scoresheet for today's game and decided that's the tale of the season. Even then it didn't make too much sense, Fryatt and Koren are our top scorers and only Hobbs suggested there was a 'spread' of goals.
How Claridge has a job is beyond me... I would be better at the job and I don't watch/take interest in League 1 or 2.
I was just annoyed that all the teams in the playoffs got full highlights but lil old Hull only got the usual 20 seconds!
Same old isn't it! Nicky even said himself about keeping under the radar! I get sick of the Championship programme, only reason I watch it at this time is because I want to see the key action again rather than waiting until it's on Iplayer.
We got a while tonight, apart from the goals there were a few other clips, not sure you can complain about that to be honest, there weren't many other clear cut chances in the game even though we had a lot of shots again.
Agree, especially as they showed 5 or 10 minutes of the abandoned Ipswich v Middlesboro game. Still, Nick wants us under the radar so why worry.
I think a fair point would be that since there were postponements across the Football League board tonight, longer highlights or post match interviews or discussion should have been made. The programme is too 'swift' for me. I am glad they got rid of Lizzie and the ridiculous email section, but the programme just doesn't work very well. Conversely I preferred Damian Johnson to Manish Bhasin, he did an all-round better job.
To be fair to them, although Koren has scored four, for our last ten league goals we've had 7 different people credited with scoring. 4 Koren 1 Evans 1 McLean 1 Fryatt 1 Hobbs 1 Brady 1 own goal As well as the point above, I can only hope it's DJ saying it in the hope there's a Birmingham defender watching who then lets Koren have too much space because he's worried about someone else as well. I might have to ask his brother next time I see him if DJ is losing his mind though.
