Every weekend on the football league show he has little love in with Brighton. Starting to get on my t*ts now! And they get more coverage than everybody else.
They are top of the league? Steve probably creamed over the fact Pompey were featured game and he seems to go to every one of their games which isn't exactly helpful as a pundit on a show that covers the whole of the Championship. He's the dullest bloke on earth.
But in the same breath as his fawning, this week, he was equally as effusive about Saints. And then they explored all three of Lambert's hat-trick. Then Maniche went onto make mention of Seaborne and wished him well from the programme. That was nice of them. Credit where it's due. However, I'll admit the general BBC Football media do love Brighton a great deal.
It is a bit annoying, but I reckon we should just let them have this love in whilst Saints go about our business beneath the radar. Ignoring football, the london media have always had a thing for Brighton as a place, many of them seem to think its the only city south of London.
we gave him some grief the other day, he told us to **** off. i swear he lives in the bookies in hedge end. he is ALWAYS in there!
The guy is a complete bell end. Fair enough they are top of the league. But we were top for 4 games and didn't get as much coverage as they have had in the last 2 weeks.
But for someone who cant get to many games due to working at weekends as well. I wouldn't mind coming in and watching the saints highlights with a few beers. But the 30 seconds coverage they give us and many other clubs is pathetic.
But understandable in a programme that has to cover 3 leagues fairly, and with comment. You know what Brian Clough used to say...? Cut out the pundit talk and show more football. He was right again.
Yea I understand that. But they should just give every game the same amount of time and then there would be no complaints.
Are you sure Jen I must admit to seeing someone looking like him go in there as I was going to Nation wide? Wasn't sure though!!
Also, what is it with the face he pulls when he is introduced on the show? It looks like he has worked really hard to look completely p****d off! Can't wait to see Brighton drop some more points and I hope it's at Leicester.
They spent most of last season top of table, and now they're currently top of the table of again. When it comes to discussion the respective dvisions (ie League One last season, Championship this season), of course Brighton are going to be focused upon and applauded (who expected them to do be top of League One last year, let alone follow it up by leading the Championship this season).
I turned off after the Saints bit and, unless they spoke a lot more later, our coverage was longer than Brighton's because they only had one goal.
