I think we all know what Stoke are going to do tomorrow, basically kick owt above grass height as always, we need to get hold of the game from the start and dictate the game to Stoke. If we play as we know we can then we'll play them off the park but i see Muntari as vital in the holding role. He's a naturally strong player with silky skills to boot but we have to get hold of the midfield from the off.

Stoke are capable of scoring if we let them dominate.

I agree we must impose ourselves on the game Welder. Easier said than done at Stoke mind.

We need Cattermole back! I saw something that he's out til march unfortunately. Muntari and catts would be a brilliant couple of players to dominate the middle with the likes of Sess, Henderson and Gyan being allowed to storm forward.

Tomorrow however Henderson will have to resume centre midfield duty with muntari. He's a far better right winger IMO but is our only real option. Quietly optimistic. Would take a nice 1-0.

We were weak through the middle against Chelsea. Chelsea had players picking up the ball between out midfield and defence frequently. That can't be allowed to happen so easily. Muntari should make us more able to cope and give us a bit of strength and aggression in the middle. The starting line-up is more awkward to pick with Sess and Muntari in the squad. We have to look to keep the ball down and get it into the feet of Steed, Muntari, Sess etc. Try to avoid giving away set-pieces and throw ins, too!!

    Elmo, Henderson , Muntari, Ricco

    Sess

    Mensah in defence, not ferdinand.

Should be able to cope against stoke then.
