Bruce looks like a dinner lady and manages like one, I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did, if they've got any sense, they'll try and get Moyes.

    No surprise.

O'Neill is more likely than Sven. Certainly it's a job more to his liking than if he had come back to us.

Sir Martin is a Sunderland fan after all but I suspect he is waiting for the spurs job should Arry leave for England.

It was probably coming to be honest. They spent a lot of money over the summer and haven't really performed this season. Bruce has never really managed to stay at a club for too long and build a proper team (you could argue that there is a reason for that). Always started okay and then gone down from there really. Although you'd have to say that the departures of key players like Henderson, Bent, Gyan, Welbeck (albeit he was a loan) haven't helped.

As for replacements, I think they'd do well to get Moyes out of Everton but I reckon someone like O'Neill or Hughes would do a decent job for them. Much like us you could say, they have a decent squad but just need the right manager to get the best from them.

O'Neil is better than Sunderland IMHO. If he is going into the EPL then he should aim for top 6 minimum.

Mark Hughes is the preferred choice according to the BBC

    They've already approached O'Neil.

I think both Hughes and O'Neill may have half an eye on the Chelsea job as AVB is struggling and looks out of his depth

MON loves turning underperforming clubs around, if he takes the Sunderland job, it will pretty much mirror his job at Villa.

Well im surprised MON took the post. Perhaps he will have a clause allowing him to leave should a top 4 club come calling
