England's number 2 maybe? Wonder how that will affect Hull City this season.

I think he had issues with the new owners, he was very uncertain if he would be there this year!

I can't see Bruce leaving to be a managers number two whom he hasn't worked with before.

    Bah!

I think they would work well together, similar to MON and RK at ROI

I can't believe that. I know his issues with the owners, but all seemed sorted. This close to the season. Where now for him? Back to the Championship probably.

Steve Bruce has a history of resigning if he thinks he can get something better.
The man has no loyalty whatsoever, and to make things worse, I completed a competition entry yesterday, and one of the questions was 'Who would be the first premier manager to resign or be sacked from September 1st. My shot was Bruce, and the rotten barsteward didn't even have the decency to wait until the 1st September to resign. He has at least cost me one point - Not that I will ever hold a grudge you understand. :emoticon-0121-angry:emoticon-0121-angry:emoticon-0121-angry

Mike Phelan might now get his management opportunity at Hull, which he maybe thought he should have had with us before McNally picked up AN.

I was surprised at the timing and i is almost like it has been done to maximise the impact of his depature on the club which is poor. Must be favourites for the drop before a ball is kicked.

All seems a bit like Cardiff. Change in ownership, unrest behind the scenes. New manager needed.
