Not been announced anywhere, but youth GK Steve Mowthorpe is currently on loan at non-league side Totton & Eling Not sure what level they're at, and not sure of the potential of Mowthorpe also - not heard too much about his scholar year Good luck to him though Thoughts?
They are in the Wessex Prem, which is the ninth tier. And he is reasonably rated around the youth set up I think. I guess the dev squad don't play many games over winter.
He lives round the corner from me and I've had a couple of kickabouts with him. He's a laugh and a very decent, well built keeper.
I've never heard of him, but I notice he's playing in the youth team today. So how can he be out on loan?
Jack Dovey has been on loan at Eastleigh but still played for U21s - with youth loans they tend to still train with us a few times a week
Well a good start for the kids. 2-0 up inside 10 minutes vs Arsenal U18s. Wonder if Wenger is licking his lips? Mmmmmmm, Southampton youngsters.
is there a link to any live updates by any chance? wenger is probably like a child catcher in a toy shop
cheeres brendy and qwerty not sure who Ryan Seagar is though? Unless a trialist or U16 - perhaps another name to look out for?
Saints have Jack Dovey, Steve Mowthorpe, Chris Johns and Will Britt as young keepers on the books and we can't play all of them. Good luck to the lad. These semi-professional non-league teamsonly train twice a week, so I imagine he'll return here for the remaining days.
