Stephen McGinn signs from Watford. Central mid aged 24, 5'9" tall http://www.shrewsburytown.com/news/article/4apr13-midfield-joins-up-578717.aspx http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_McGinn
Looks to have a decent pedigree but injury has sidelined him until recently - could be a decent acquisition. We still badly need an established striker - with Mcleod now returned to MK would it be too much to hope for Lowe to come back to us or perhaps getting Benson in?
welcome stephen mcginn. another loanee, do hope he is not another jif! he deserves a chance and may well tighten our defence. i hope the winning side is kept at scunny
Look after McGinn for us please - all round good guy and a top player for us until his injury. Prior to the injury, he had just started to excel in our midfield - an attack minded & fairly skillful player with an eye for goal who should do well for you. He took a little while to adjust to the game in England but, in the opinion of many, he had the makings of an EPL player.
Bolton's Boots, Thanks for the encouraging comments - we are down to the bare bones in our squad at the moment and Mcginn should not have much trouble getting a few games. I hope he is still as good as you say he is.
Just to echo BB's comments - we were really looking forward to seeing him progress until the injury and have been looking forward to getting him back since. Needs some playing time and hope he does a good job for you. Only positive out of his injury was it stopped Malky Mackay poaching him when he moved to them across the border from you...
Hello Mr.McGinn! Sounds like you might fit in well. Now for the brickbat! 50% of the people GT wanted in January are already loanees.....that means the next two must be real Shrews! But I may have seen the bigger picture......when we stay up we will have so much money we can buy some great players for next season!!!! So I am really looking forward to next season already!
my guess is rolands wallet will be as fat on 1.2.13 as it is now. there was a scare on news eve in the wycherly household when his 28 number combination was accidentily? flushed down the loo with a lottery ticket. thankfully dynarod recovered all, although the numbers have gone public-7,9,67,17. 4,34,43.76,2, 14,16, 33,45,78,. it is understood a new combination has been organised. anyone reading this load of old tosh may wish to invest £1 in tomorrows lotto. 4,7,33,34,43 and 45. those paying attention may note these numbers form part of rolands secret combination and may or not be lucky. er floreat salopia. bet365aj wishes all good fortune and to town in their 4-1 demolition of scunny. er well done our marv for the hat trick, oh and lukey baby for the other one. now do not forget--4,7,33,34,43 and 45!
