OK, it's unlikely imo but Kenny Jackett at Millwall is interested: http://bit.ly/neAOMb Scored again against Arsenal reserves who put out a decent side and scored another 2 in the recent defeat to Newcastle reserves. I'm sure he'll have a part to play this season for us and I for one think it will be a huge mistake to send him out. I said that when he went to Blackpool and again about Agustien but was shouted down by others last season. For all of Routledge's pace and endeavour he won't give us goals, even though he won the pen last week. Dobbie is doing more than enough in the reserves to get a run in the side. Agree? Disagree?
He has one chance and that was away at Man City. To be fair probably not the best one to start. I have watched him in the resevers and has played well. He has generally been a slow starter for us> last year he didnt come into his own until mid season. The guy is quality i think his time will come and will again be the player pulling some strings upfront for us. To good to let go.
i think he is getting pissed on from a high cloud because of one bad performance whilst others are getting away with it
we will happily take him! Hull City that is, watched a lot of you guys when you were on, terrific player!
Everybody saying he deserves a start but fact if matter is we are 10th in league and won last game. Who deserves to lose place in team after that. If routledge has poor game I'm coming fixtures then dobbie deserves a chance and it's up to him to keep hold of place then. Dobbie is a fans favourite and one of my favourites too but at this moment in time with team winning would be harsh to drop anyone unless tired or have a knock
Watched Dobbie in the reserve's match on Arsenal Player (BTW, what a fantastic site that is compared to ours). His goal from the free-kick was just a peach and he made the first by turning two of their defenders inside-out. Now he has to kick it into gear in the Prem. I don't think the midfield setup in the first couple of games really suited him, he was off the pace and so for that matter were the others, but if he gets the chance he needs to show what he can do. Remember, he broke through last season coming of the bench against Middlesboro; prior to that he was injured then didn't get much of a look-in. Loaning him out now would be even dumber than it was the first time.
We got a thin enough squad as it is so he shouldn't go. But i can see why he would want to if he wants to play. I prefer Routledge in that position at the minute so he is just going to have to wait until he gets a chance and take it with both hands
Musty there is a competition for places, he knows this and will get his chances, saying he should go on loan is not entirely up to him is it ? The swans are his employers and we have a huge say in this!
