Classic Dobbie finish - see it, hit it. Not too clever. Not too cute. No panic. No over-thinking. Hit the target, make the keeper work to stop it, in it goes.

Looking forward to seeing the Big D at Wembley yet again.

When you analyse that Video, and the dynamics of Dobbie's goals, remember this, Rodgers put Moore and Lita in front of him??? Like I've said all season, sometimes managers know sweet FA! On this issue Rodgers is no better than Sousa...............<ok>

But Dragon even though they were in front of Dobbie, they hardly got game time either! They are nice goals no doubt, but Brendan thinks he cannot do the same in the premier league for us, and its borne out as we are 12th in the league. Now I ask again because this keeps on getting ignored, who do we drop to allow Dobbie a game?

Get Dobbie back as a bench player for Sigurdsson in CAM unless we sign someone else!

How the hell can Mark Gower get a game over him, it was like playing with 10 men at Old Trafford.

Gower, for all his lack of pace, knows his role in the Swans team very well. Dobbie, while he should know his role well, wanders too much and ruins our system. He's class at shooting, but we need a lot more than that out of a centre forward. Buck clearly thinks so anyway, and I do too. In terms of all round game I think he's miles behind Graham, but I do think Dobbie deserves a decent crack at the PL. If not with us, then with Blackpool, he seems to like it there.

Gower will be gone in the summer, and we'll have either siggy or his replacement as well in the summer. And I do think that we will sell Dobbie as he will want what we can't give him and that is games, he is off the bench player as he can't give a full game. So with that can we afford a player who can only play in one position for 30 minutes ?

Did any of you Dobbie lovers watch the Blackpool/Birmingham game? Yes, he scored and he showed some lovely touches and vision; this, we know he's capable of, and Brendan definitely knows. But did you also see how often he gave the ball away, and how Blackpool weren't punished because of Birmingham's lack of pace and class? He also did this for us last season. This season, we cannot afford one of our midfield three to be guilty of losing possession on a regular basis, as Prem teams will tear us apart, and so he is never going to be a first choice for us. I imagine we will sell him to Blackpool for 1.5 to 2 mill and he will go with my blessing. His goals last season were instrumental in us being where we are now. A great player for the right period in our team's development, but we have now moved on and so should he.

If Blackpool do get promoted, and I hope they do,why assume that they will want Dobbie then.
Holloway is no fool.
Perhaps,he sees Dobbie the way Rodgers appears to,as a means to an end.
No disrespect intended to Dobbie.
There are many players who function at Championship level, but are unable to bridge the gap to The P.L.
He could well be one of them.

After the play-off second leg against Birmingham, I don't know if anyone else watched the post-match interview with Dobbie when he presented another Blackpool player with the bottle of champagne for being awarded man of the match, but after doing that he turned the camera, raised his arm and kissed the tattooed word ‘Jack’ on his forearm. I thought it was class on his part for doing that!

I guessed as much Milfy, but it was still a great gesture and I'd like to think it was also aimed at the Swans fans as well as he's still highly thought of down here...

He has scored some great goals and I will always remember his contribution in the play-off final last year, especially that third goal before half-time! He's always had an eye for goal, but drifts in and out of games too much to make a lasting impact and needed a run of games to get established – something he's never had this season.

Great video though and fabulous memories...

In the Prem, I think he is the sort of player that can come on when youre a goal or two down and change the game. Instead of Moore for Dyer as has happened often, a Dobbie for Dyer would have more potential.

Here's your answer valley (Ha ha Jager's at it again), though I doubt you'll let it sink in! The boy deserves at least a run of games, and when some of you talk about giving the ball away, I've lost count how often Dyer, Sinclair and Graham have done that this season, it's in the nature of being a forward player, it's the gamble they take to brake down defences, Dobbie has proved he's a Striker that delivers goals, and he'll continue to prove his doubters wrong............ <ok>

Some of the rags reporting Blackpool will in for him @ £500k in the summer as only 12mths left on contract.

Cant see him going for that tbh, but cant see him wanting to extend either if hes not playing

Still don't get your references to someone else ???

I can put on here quotes from others, it's pointless though as it doesn't answer the question of who you drop for him to get a game. We need players like siggy playing for the team.

I will put money on Dobbie not playing for the swans again, care to cover the bet ? Keep it friendly and call it £20 that I will PayPal to you if he plays for us again, you can send it to me if he goes.
