Stephen Constantine - The Closing Chapter

Since the appointment of Martin Allen obviously all previous candidates are now a distant memory. However, Stephen Constantine did go to the trouble of responding to me via email albeit I never knew for certain if the email or website were genuine but you eventually have to go with gut instinct. So I thought it right just to check his website to see what the future holds for him now...

'I know I have to be patient and wait for the next and more importantly the right opportunity to come along. One of those opportunities was an Interview with Gillingham FC, several weeks ago.

Last week or so Martin Allen was appointed and naturally I am disappointed but that’s the way it goes and we move on, I wish Martin and the Gills all the very best for the new season.'

I thought someone was putting it about on twitter that he never got an interview?

A more dignified response than you might have expected from MA had he been unsuccessful.

 

Something tells me this is not the last time we will hear Constantines name linked with GFC.
