Glad you got there in the end. Priceless. But. Not quite as good as the Claridge reaction to Cisse's goal on Wednesday night for the Toon against Chelski.

That's the trouble with going to games, you miss all the little details not to mention what's going on elsewhere (including the SSN studio)! Okay, having a laugh, but really we were totally oblivious to the goings on at Bolton - other than a little guy in with a big phone whispering something to his dad about Bolton being 1-0 up. After that, nothing - not even on the pitch in front of us. As the minutes ticked away, apart from the odd rendition of that time-honoured dirge of ours, 'carm onn yooo Rs' (hardly inspiring when not driven by the vocal majority), the place seemed like a morgue. Reckon it had dawned on many in the ground that we were nowt more than a dead team playing to the final whistle. The rest is being written into the annals of Queens Park Rangers FC! Ole, ole ole ole... The thing is though, whilst I heard something about Bolton drawing, I remained blissfullly ignorant of the 2-2 drama at the Reebok until I got finally got home!
