Good point today at Burton. 9 points in the last six games. 9th in the form table....it's getting better and I think we'rein for a good season.
Hey Gastro its been a while good pos post.........off out in 5 mins what forum do you frequent as I have not seen you on this one for a while COR
Good post G, have to agree, really bad start to the season, but starting to get some form, not getting excited yet but going in the right direction, thought it was a good point gained today, plenty on the radio after the match who thought otherwise though.
solong, i think i will get excited when we have a striker scoring for fun. clarksons on 3 and the others who have scored got just 1 and clarkson playing more of a midfield role at the moment. i think the more riordan plays the better he will get and find his old form. when that happens, thats when things will get interesting for me
Yep CJS that goes without saying, averaging a fraction under a goal a game will more likely than not see any team fighting for survival let alone safe in mid table, as you mentioned though it looks like on paper we have addressed this, so the sooner the likes of Riordan and Clarkson are fully up to speed the better, im sure that Eaves will score his share, jury still out with me on Richards, but the kid has shown he can do it at times? Then of course, and sure it was mentioned again yesterday, we have got to start getting the ball into the strikers feet thats Riordans game, he will finish when that sort of service is given, at this moment in time it seems to be pretty non existant though, something to work on?
You're on about that Ridian bloke?...now he was a total prick! Anyhow can't agrue with this post, we're finally looking like we've turned the corner. UTG
True Pride, but I don't hold much hope for us this season just yet. Lets hope MM can get us up and running very shortly!
Would have been 5 points outside the playoffs if that Safety **** didn't abandon the Wycombe game If things progress well I'll have to think about reviving my old "Gas Up **** Down" thread
Baby steps Chris, thats all it is, baby steps. After what we've been through for the last 2-3 years at the club it will take time to recover but we are taking baby steps albeit in the right direction..hence the walk before run concept. Once we get Woodards and Shaqs back we'll be firing on all cylinders! Aye Gas but we'll do them again and next time we'll keep a clean sheet!
