Yes, it means we will definitely win.

Or else ACS will bare his backside in the Sunderland end immediately after the match.

Hmm, the couple of beatings we've received in the last two games gives me no confidence at all.

Losing 4-1 & 4-0 just before taking on the Mackems is a terrible way to enter into things.

    I fear the worst.

On last nights showing young Armstrong is definitely worth a start against the Mackems and he will surely be up for it.

Really I'd have more faith in Alan Partridge than I have in Pardew.

Sensible approach as far as derby's go <laugh>

Lets not forget the players in all this. They should be able to give us a performance on Sunday with or without a manager after what they served up last year! Sometimes professional pride should enable a set of players to put the record straight. A lot of things go out the window and tactics is often one of them. We need to restore some pride above all else.

So if he plays Gouffran and Williamson, you'll blame the other players more than Pardew. Pardew was the wrong that played the wrong formation at Tottenham and Arsenal. He'll play the same silly formation with Gouffran on Sunday. Wouldn't put it past him to drop Colback.

I imagine we will line up as follows:

Alnwick, Janmaat, Dummett, Saylor, Colo, Tiote, Colback, Sissoko, Sameobi, Cabella, Perez

Thats how I see it with Pardew possibly picking Gouffran ahead of Cabella. If Abeid was fit I'd drop Tiote.

As always I think players and management should shoulder the blame regardless. Its a collective responsibility. I do think the team owes us a performance though.

And to be fair you stayed calm with Alnwick as well.

I hope that the more calmness about the game can continues and we can get to the point where it is normal for fans to walk to each other's grounds with out a line of Police to separate them from each other.

I know there must have been some bother some where but nothing major and that must be a big pat on the back to both sets of fans and to the police. It also vindicates the clubs stance two years back about the police attitude towards the game.

So let's all stay calm for the next game and just to test the system I think we need to see how things work when the away team loose in a derby game
