As the Mrs already knows, its not about the awkward start, its about performing as best you can in the middle and finishing in the right place

Long way to go...lot more games to lose <laugh> I shouldn't laugh but some of our fans (I know its a small minority but still) on social media are hilarious. Ready to hang themselves after 2 games.

We've got work to do as you can see already how every team is going to play home and away. They are gonna sit deep, get men behind the ball and look to counter. So far we have been useless at breaking teams down. We have lacked the guy who beats a man, the guy who can play the killer pass, and also width with attacking full backs who will overlap and hit the byline. These 3 things will be crucial in us moving forward.

We definitely lack that creator. If you took Norwich as an example, Wes Hoolahan would be that player to make you tick and thread the little balls through. We need one of those. I'd still break the bank for Hughes and Knockaert just to give us that bit of creativity/dynamism.

I know he's ****e, but Haidara may be of use with the current tactics being employed against us. He does overlap fairly well. I'm his biggest critic but Dummett is no good in the current scenario.

Townsend would have smashed that league.

    But you sold him. <laugh>

If we are using that analogy then I am assuming that your Mrs will be happiest if we don't go up as Champions then.

    Do we play Sissoko Wednesday?

Should he not still earn his wages whilst he is still here? if he can contribute before leaving than isnt that best for all parties involved? I dont really wanna see him play, but I just wanna win a game and if it means him playing im prepared to sacrafice my pride.

    Sissoko Wednesday

Who is he, where does he play and who did we sign him from? I take it he's Nigerian. He sounds Nigerian. That Sunday Oliseh was good so I'm all for players with a day of the week in their name.

Wow a Mackem more optimistic than most Newcastle supporters. At this very moment I cant see us getting promoted honestly, but that will all change once we get a win or two under our belts.

See that's part of the problem of playing in the Championship I didn't even know that team existed. Is there also a Sissoko United and are they in our league?

See only a Sunderland fan has given a sensible response to Sam's Sissoko Wednesday comment. This is what is wrong with this board. Its dying this board, dying a horrible death.

I do want us to sign Sissoko Wednesday though. Its a great name. I'm not put off by the Sissoko element to the whole affair. He was just misunderstood really. When you are a Real Madrid player and find yourself plying your trade at Newcastle, its bloody soul destroying.
