Rules (I tried to keep this simple) Player Predictions 1 point for each correct player in starting XI If all 11 players are correctly predicted, a is also awarded. Result / Score Predictions 1 point for a correct result prediction 3 points and a for a correct result and score prediction Points for player predictions & result / score predictions to be combined (see below). League position depends on total points, not the number of stars. The member with the highest score at the end of the season is Prediction League Champion The member with the most by the end of the season is the Prediction Trophy Winner There might even be prizes... Result / Score predictions could also count in the league table, Maybe 1 point for a correct result prediction, 3 points (total) for getting the score right as well.
Me neither - that's chiefly why the Sheriff wants my job But even a partial prediction would be OK for the league table. If any member doesn't feel confident about predicting all 11 players, just name four or five... Of whatever number you wish to. No obligation to predict, or to join in for every game. Just a bit of fun. All correct guesses will get a point, and no deductions for not guessing all 11. Though any member guessing all 11 players correctly may get a bonus. Possibly a Then at the end of the season the member with most wins the Prediction Trophy while the member with the most accumulated points becomes League Champion As they may not be one and the same person. I'm just making this up as I go along here

No idea, but I am predicting a comfortable 2-0 victory for Watford. This will be a wake up call and a realisation of what needs to be done to stay up.

That's the plan. I'll post a players / result / score prediction table at the top of this thread. After each game it will be updated. No obligation on members to predict for every game, but accumulated points will be shown for those who like to. If it catches on we'll carry it through to the end of the season.
