Before yesterday’s game I was in the Cross Hands with a very old friend and fellow City fan and he asked me the simple question; how do you think we’ll do today?
That may not sound significant because people try and predict the football scores before every game - but this was different.
As far as City is concerned I’m a glass half empty man - i always err on caution and fear the opposition - but I was able to say to him yesterday ‘we definitely won’t lose’ - I couldn’t believe that I said it - but I did.
The sparks of belief have started - looking at the top 6 we are absolutely as good as anyone.
    Leeds/Norwich - ok
Borough - good defence but don’t score
Sheff U - just got tanked by Swansea - who we beat yesterday
West Brom - meh - good but vulnerable.

And us - bloody great defence - even with Maenpaa injured - Frankie doing a great job.

We are bloody difficult to beat right now. Other teams fear us.

What is this I’m feeling? Delusion? Positivity?

We have become the team to beat at present, which on one hand is a compliment, on the other it creates even more determination from others.
The unbeaten run has been amazing along with the winning streak, but the real test, could be how the team reacts when or if we do get beat.
But what we have done, is to take away the fear now, of any relegation thoughts and just go for it...It's been a great effort by the team and management and looking forward to see where it takes us...Got to say, it's brought a new light to what was doom and gloom just a few months ago!!

Yeah I'm starting to believe, but it was only the end of November that I was on the verge of calling for LJ to be sacked so I won't get too ahead of myself <laugh>.

Can't complain, this run is fantastic at the moment. Especially considering the players we lost in the summer, and the players we still have to come into their prime.

Even though we are doing extremely well I hate the media for down playing our team. The Mail on Sunday's coverage of our game only mentioned the fact that Huw Jenknis left Swansea after losing at Bristol City and gave not a single word on how we won. On Quest EFL round up it said how much longer is our good form going to last prior to showing minimal highlights compared to other fixtures.

We are now clearly visible on everyone's radar and long may it continue well in to May, and to hell what others might say. Well done City and Lee.

This absolutely. We WILL lose at some point, so getting back on the horse quickly rather than it spurring one of our infamous poor runs of form will be key. Always hard to predict, but at this stage I'd say our chances of making the playoffs are only 50-50.

Blackburn away is a tough test - Hull, who have been on a similar run got spanked 3-0 there last week. Even a point would be pretty damned good, but get all three and we're really cooking.

The only difference Red Squid is that we actually know where we are going without a plebiscite.

Personally enjoying the football at present and the run, have no idea how long it will last or where we’ll end up & honestly at the moment don’t really care .

Just carry on as we are and just see what happens. If we are still there or there abouts mid March we’ll thats different, for now just enjoying the ride.
