..I guess most have noticed we seem to be conceding simple early goals. Surely the team need to keep things tight for 10-20 mins - especially away from home. The players are badly letting MH down in that respect. His game plan (however bad it may be) then goes immediately out of the window. Its now West Ham and West Brom that we have conceded within 5 minutes.
Hes toot negative, he starts games way too defensively like were trying to hold onto a draw or sneak a 1-0. Then we havent got the firepower to hit back. He needs to be more attacking and let them worry about us rather than set up to stifle other teams and fail miserably. The whole selection and attitude is wrong.
Totally agree, as I have said many times - MH is getting things badly wrong. But, the players are also letting him down - conceding so early into games, and conceding straight after we have scored.
Now that is a good point and fair criticism of Hughes and players. After the West Ham early minutes, madness to make same mistake two games running! If we concede early against Everton, the Hughes nay sayers will gain considerable momentum.
We played a 4141, how is that not defensive? The only positive thing was Taarabt playing and he got us a goal.
