    So what is our current best starting 11 assuming that The Wig, The Pig, The Harriotts & The Bike depart...?

    ...............................Hendo.........................

    ..Solly.......Gomez.........Obileye........Fox..

    JBG......Cousins.....Diarra.......Holmes-Dennis

    ................Vetokele.........Watt....................

    Holmes-Dennis gets left mid on the basis that The Mouse is still not fit.

    Good enough to stay in Championship......????..... I doubt it :(

    <cheers>

    That team is nowhere near good enough. We need two central defenders, one right back and one left back. A central midfielder and a left winger. Two forwards, one being a target man. The squad at the moment is very thin and there doesn't seem to be any signs of movement.

    The bench would be interesting. Assuming Pope will be off again:

    Dmitrovic; Barnes; Lennon; Edwards; Jackson; Charles-Cook; Ahearne-Grant.

    I don't know what they do to the opposition, but they scare the hell out of me.

    And we have morons like reams saying everything will be ok! We only have about 7-8 players capable of playing at championship level. We need 10 players minimum and that's assuming Gomez, Henderson and JBG stay.

    Right - so another thought. We've obviously released a whole host of players, then told we are actively seeking to offload four on top of that. Gomez has his price and an educated guess will tell us JBG won't be too far behind.

    What is the strategy? I hope th club don't see Diarra as a CB too. Overhauling the squad every season isn't healthy nor does it rarely work in creating a winning environment.

    Where's the trust when you need them? (I'm joking before you run over each other on your way to creating another poll)

    Roland doesn't have a strategy for Charlton, or if he does it's a secret. His aim is to run Staprix at a profit. I don't know, but would guess, that it would have been pretty easy, if Roland had a strategy to get us promoted, to have persuaded Joe Gomez to stay and help us push for the Premier League.
