every game! Stop dropping Stokes when him and Hooper obvioulsy work!

Stop playing Samaras...he a ****, a lazy workshy **** whose got his contract and will contribute one game in 20!

Get Commons in a Gym and get him playing

    Never drop Ledley

If Forrest is on fire, play him.

Find a youth team player to partner K Wilson

If Matthews is on fire, play him

    Get shot of Forster...he pish

"Start with your strongest team" ... and that's usually your winning team! The team set out against M'well were in good form and confident. Okay, M'well were poor but I thought it was always best practice to continue with your winning team - that would have meant Anthony Stokes, James Forrest and Gary Hooper getting the opportunity to combine and show plenty of goal threat with the good movement shown in the M'well game....which was woefully absent today thus all the pressure fell on the defence. The midfield were too slow and ponderous on the ball for long periods as well. Wasn't it KI giving the ball away so cheaply in midfield which brought about Mulgrew's first yellow card?

I agree but would like to add that, if you are under pressure, surely you should have an out ball, someone playing counter attack in their half.

We never seem to do this

We also never score from corners

We all knew what the team was missing at the end of last season

    Not addressed in transfer window

You hit the post from a corner.

I can understand why the Celtic fans are frustrated about yesterday. Samaras usually puts in a good shift against us and holds the ball up well, but yesterday he was useless. Ki and Kayal never really got into the game, whereas Davis and Edu ran all over them. Kelvin Wilson looks like he will be a liability against forwards who have a bit of intelligence about them.

For all the abuse levelled towards Rangers about buying cheap central defenders, I'm sure Celtic are wishing they got one of them. Goian looks like an absolute bargain.

Yesterday we were a disgrace could easily have lost 7 goals in the second half, I've been going to Ibrox for over thirty years and yesterday reminded me of 90's when Rangers looked like scoring every time they went forward. The problems start at Lennon door , Brown clearly unfit , Commons missing !!! Samaras only playing in the big games , Mulgrew not getting subbed and then getting put to left back , just asking to get sent off . Not many times I will admit but we clearly second best to Rangers yesterday

Mulgrew had to go to left back madori was getting murderd by lafferty. Ledley should have played no doubt and the Samaras card has been played already. We should have taken a forward off after about 5 min of the second half and put on Ledley it was odvious we couldn't keep the ball and we're been overrun.

Rangers defence isn't very good I think we seen that but without the ball we can't hurt them.

It was obvious Mulgrew was going to be sent off, could easily have been sent off before that with two fouls straight after half time, mulgrew should have been repaced by Ledley , yes the left back was having a mare ,better having him than playing with 10 men

Lennon needs to stop picking a team that's set up to stop Rangers winning and just concentrate on picking the team that can go out and win the game. Hooper and Samaras has never worked in any of the other games. Why did he think it was going to work yesterday? Does he think if he keeps playing them together that they're going to magically click?

    It does not work.

And why did he drop Ledley in a game where winning the midfield battle is paramount? It was clear that Brown was struggling with his ankle. Now it looks like he might be out for a good few games.

I've been and continue to be behind Lennon but he needs to stop chopping and changing the team on a game to game basis and settle on a settled front two because changing them every week is disrupting the balance of the team.

  9. I said on Friday, if we set up not to get beat (as I thought we would), Rangers would win.

Lennon got it wrong, McCoist got it right (although, Lennon was right to play Brown but the Ledley decision worried me from the get-go).

As the first half wore on, Celtic got stronger and stronger.

After half-time, we should've come out all guns blazing - clearly the half time team talk involved maintaining shape and noising up Naismith - neither of which worked.

Jelavic's goal was almost a carbon copy of the first goal in Madrid (we'd been warned with Davis hitting the bar and Lafferty's good goal getting chopped off) - we can't continue to defend corners so badly.

Once Mulgrew was off, Rangers were a stick on to score again - I tried to figure out who was playing where in defence with no luck - looked like M Wilson was left of a 3 man defence for a bit and looked like K Wilson was on the left side for a bit. Kayal was the last man after a break from a corner after K Wilson attempted a daft tackle 10 yards in the Rangers half.

The whole second half was a shambles - we deserved to be outplayed and beat fair and square.

The fourth goal highlighted how much of a shambles our defence was. The player chasing Naismith was Stokes!

I know Mulgrew was sent off but when the only player tracking the opposition striker is your own striker it doesn't say much for our defence (or midfield).

I heard commons tweeted that he was fit and ready to play but lennon said he was injured. any truth in this? it was on follow follow after all

  14. Nothing new in that - player thinks he's fit but manager reckons he isn't.

Only a shower of spastics would try and make a big deal out of that.

    Oh wait...

Commons has been ****e every game he's played this season. If he wants a start he should try putting a decent shift in.

It's a bit funny that Levein dropped him as well.

  17. What, that a player reckons he's ready to play but the manager doesn't?
