i think we should Tighten up the back and go for the counter attack To play open against Swansea might be asking them to regain their form
Without Martin, can we even realistically play 5 at the back? How much faith do we have in Wisdom at CB? I'd rather see 4-2-3-1, but with two proper holding players in Tettey and Mulumbu. Then take your pick for attacking midfielders, I'd like to see Wes though.
Far too negative for any game but the big boys away in my book. I think/hope that with Mulumbu back we have a midfielder who is good defensively but distributes well too. So I'm hoping that will give the balance we need between attack and defence to go again with only 4 at the back Bah!
I'm with the General here, I think the back 5 was prudent against Man City but with Mulumbu back, I think we can play him in that DM role ahead of Bennett and Bassong without the need to play Tettey alongside too. I miss the marrauding wing attacks from Olsson that we saw last season and would like to see him start again though no complaints about Brady. On paper, I like: Ruddy Bennett Bassong Whitts Olsson Mulumbu Redmond Jarvis Howson Hoolahan Jerome
Isn't Jarvis crooked? Rudd Bennet Bassong Wisdom Olsson Mulumbu Brady Redmond Hoolahan Howson Jerome Just to mix it up a bit
Given that Mbokani, Wisdom and Jarvis are all doubtful, I'd go with: Ruddy Whittaker Bennett Bassong Olsson Howson Mulumbu Redmond Hoolahan Brady Jerome
I think RER is pretty close to what we'll see maybe with Tettey in for Wes to start freeing up Howson to go between Redmond and Brady
Wisdom is seeming like a waste of a loan slot. If we canceled his loan, can we make another Prem Loan this season? Is it 2 and one time? Or 2 in the total of the season?
Wisdom has trained all week and is available for tomorrow, FML. Just as well I'd say with Martin suspended.
Will only be answered after the game. If he looks off it again, then it is a waste of a loan slot. Can't blame him much as he's been left out for under performing defenders all season. I'm guessing he's only had training and U21 games.
