I don't know about the rest of the SAFC massive but the tension is getting to me!......I am sure it was not as bad as this last season....To be honest i just want the first two games out of the way and then I think the season will start for proper. My reasoning is that the first game of the season always produces silly results and is not predictive of anything and the game with the skunks is a massive revenge mission and whatever the result the opposition will dismis it..........and I think rightly because of the timing.I think it is a phoney start to the season but everything has to have a beginning so here im hoping for a well earned 2:1 win against the hub snatchers and triumphant 9:1 thrashing of the bog dwelling french fancies ooops i thought i said the first two games do not matter...its the bloody tension.............. i need a drink! lol
I agree with you commachio...its a bit like when you were a kid you have to eat those bloody sprouts before you can get at the ice cream,,,its not that i dont care about todays game but i want that skunks game over and done with and the wait is making me cranky.. drink is the only way through it and i will raise a glass to all of the safc massive.
My theory is, If we were playing the mags today, it would mean we would then be going into the game against the scousers with a win against our rivals under our belt. and what a boost that would be. Oh well get this one done, and the time will be upon us shortly... I ve just re=arranged all my plans so as i dont miss next weeks match...bit of a ball ache but it'll be worth it.
Ill snap ya hands off for a draw today, I have a horrible feeling we'll concede very early today and lose 2 or 3 nill. Hate to be doom n gloom just being honest. To make things worse I think Newcastle, like they got with Villa last year are catching Arsenal at the perfect time. Arsenal are a mess right now.
To be honest i would not swap any of the emotions involved in supporting safc.... as it wht makes our support the envy of many.....its easy to support the manu and barcas of the world ..its what makes the british experience of football so special...you just cannot put a finger on it , the americans or sky cannot bottle it and sell it around the world as its just not not the same .On the pitch our football may not be the best in the world but as an event british footbal is the best in the world and long may it continue....lol
In the last 5 seasons we have only lost once on the opening day. I feel a good result is on the cards.
Cant get radio newcastle on the radio. Does that mean I have to watch the bias against anything SAFC ssn? x
