Ok, so it all kicks off tomorrow with the exception of the Prem.

So thoughts on any of the games?

I'll look at my lot away to Doncaster, hope I'm wrong but I'm sticking with being realistic and expecting a 2-0 defeat.

Doncaster were a decent side last season and i expect the same again. Gillingham have taken on at least 11 new players, but no one significant, all freebies and loans as per.

I think Evans will help us gel as a team and I'm hoping for a good season, but some how Donny away seems a big ask.

Will make my assessment when we play Burton at home the following Saturday.

@Commachio Sunderland at home against Oxford United, I'm expecting them to storm L1 this season, i thought last season was a tough league for anyone.

I see @Stan non league boys Woking start away at Daggers in the National League and I'm still finding it hard to believe Notts County are down there, what a wake up to reality it is for them away at Eastleigh.

@Suckmyklopp Liverpool taking on Man City for some shield on Sunday

Oh mustn't forget Scotland, with @A.L.D.O 4.1 being an honorary Prem board member, with his beloved Rangers away at Kilmarnock, I'm sure they will not embarrass themselves <whistle>

Luton play Boro tonight. No idea why they picked that for TV, to be honest.

Yeah does seem a strange one, the odds are not favouring these two teams as promotion candidates, not that it should just be about that, but it's far from a local game too!

It's about four hours travel by train or car and it's on a Friday. Really disrespectful to the fans.
It's also not a game for the neutral, so it's a weird one for TV. **** decision all round, really.

None are exactly local but Forest v West Brom would have been the more logical one.

Missing the first 3 Woking home games because of holidays and family commitments. Annoying.

Yup agree. I always remember the trip up to Tranmere on a Friday night, but at least there was a decent reason behind it (Liverpool/Everton), so I didn't begrudge them that. But for Boro to make the trip down to Luton on a Friday night fook that, especially with works on the A1/A14 and the M1 both major schemes.

Plus the fact that Luton is a ****ing **** hole.

Still, they'll be used to that coming from Boro

You’ll beat City on Sunday. I can see them getting off to a bad start this season (by their own standards that is). I think Pep will throw a tantrum if he doesn’t get a couple more big names in.

Don't see them having a bad start myself tbh, the squad is insane for depth and quality, here's to hoping though bro

I’d be very surprised if we see a repeat of last season again. I think you’ll both drop a few more points but I still think it’ll end up a race between the same two clubs.
