Rovers CEO Martin Starnes has stepped down and has been replaced by the club's commercial director, Tom Gorringe.

I think this is a good move. Starnes has been less and less visible during the tumult of the past couple of years, whilst Gorringe has done a good job in his commercial role.

    UTG!

I am glad that Starnes has gone. What has he actually done for us?

The club has announced that Tommy Widdrington has left the club.

Hardly surprising. Once Barton came in and pretty much accused Widdrington of poor recruitment etc, his days were numbered. He hasn’t had a proper role for a few months. I guess that leaves another space on the board too?

Good news this. But we need a proper scouting network.
