Where do we start with this pretty lot lol....from penalty miss of this decade, to best performance of the season, and the whole team had to dig deep to hold onto our precious lead and more importantly 3 points.

The star player points could go to so many, but I'm only allowed to pick three...

    1. Turner you don't need me to explain why.
    2. Maloney his ability shows through, cracking goal, is he and Alexander competing for strike of the season, I'm happy if they are
    3. Alexander <laugh> no, no hear me out lads, I know the penalty was a bit, well, erm...pants. But I was so glad to have him starting tonight, let's not forget wasn't it his assist for our goal as well as the thunderbolt that went over....

So how am I feeling after that great win tonight, well this well tell you...

Sorry to all those players I could have selected, you all deserve points really.

That was much better - 'conservative' play - with a reasonable bit of adventure.
    1. Turner - (( will we be able to keep him until the end of the season? ))
    2. Mahoney - - - now, if only Bonne could learn to 'park' the ball like Connor !
    3. Jefferies - definitely missed his forward movement when he was out injured.

This was a game where we showed that, whilst we can hold onto a 1-0 lead, the team looks so much better than merely that when venturing forward (( playing nearer to their collective potential as I have asked ! ))

    ......... are we doing a 'miss-of-the-season ' award ?
