1. Dempsey - superb game -- much hard work, and showed quality 2. Akinde - Swindon's defence couldn't cope with his strength. 3. The crossbar - especially in the first half -how did Swindon NOT score ?
1. Oliver - I've given the guy a lot of stick in other games, he was certainly putting himself about today. 2. Dempsey - The engine room, I don't really need to say anymore. 3. Coyle - Should have been Akinde, but the gaffer makes the decisions, and the lad took his chance well. Could have been Bonham - covered that near post well, even if the crossbar did save us several times later. Robertson kept catching my attention for the right reasons, why does he constantly remind me of Hessy (jnr). Probably a few others I should have mentioned along with the lucky horseshoe today.
1. Oliver...took his goal well. 2. Akinde... I was unsure about him but his work rate and hold up play gets better all the time. 3. Dempsey...showing that extra bit of class.
