    1. Masterson...not a goal scorer - but - made big contributions to keep control of the defence.
    2. Lapslie - really beginning to show some quality - and got into a great place for his tap-in.
    3. Hawkins...again worked hard - and poached his goal.

Difficult to leave out the others - Morris for a couple of important saves..MacKenzie having a bigger part to play when Gills go forward.. Nichols making a nuisance of himself when he came on- and assisted brilliantly for Lapslie's goal... O'Brien also showing signs of quality and clas that was non-existent before Christmas....
.... I'd like Gills to 'play' for a full 90 minutes - how about this weekend and next Tuesday... 6 points would be massive, and give us total confidence to 'let loose' for the rest of the season.

I've not really seen enough to select top 3, but for what I have seen I've been impressed with MacKenzies contribution. Good to see both Hawkins and Lapslie hitting the mark again, and I'll pick up on something @alwaysright said about Lapslie getting himself into a great place for his tap in, absolutely agree and we are starting to see the different characteristics of the new players, I find Nicols a little frustrating at times, and just needs to use his brain a little bit more than his feet, but I don't mean that to sound as harsh as it seems - I'm sure there will be more room in other games for his style of play. I've not forgotten to pay more attention to Masterson as well, so alwaysrights selection and summary is about right for me, and I mustn't forget when Nichols isn't scoring he's assisting, so I'll shut up now before I dig this hole any deeper. Huh since when does anyone take notice of me lol....although I did insist in us trusting in Neil Harris <whistle>

    Hawkins
    Masterson
    McKenzie.
Picked Hawkins this game as could of been him last game but he didn't get in top 3.
Great to see so many good performers though.
