Oh well, five consecutive defeats and a complete meltdown on twitter by the fans. Got to be honest I had a splitting headache before the game and it honestly couldn't have been made any worse. 1. Gbode So what now we ask...I certainly don't want to get on this sacking the manager merry-go-round again - we've had three goes at this now, we're just going to have to see this one out until we see the light at the other end of the tunnel. I could have sworn today I saw some reflection of a forcefield around the Newport goal mouth that said the ball will not pass. We had a really early chance where Lapslie released a pass to Jayden, only for the ball to somehow skim wide, but when your luck is down, it's down and will I be glad when we get rid of this consecutive defeats streak and at least get a draw. Anyway any delusions of promotion have well and truly been smashed to pieces now like a hammer on a coconut.

Ps, the Guardian of the Galaxy ride at Epcot is insane - best I've ever done.
Did not come away from the game as deflated as I might have as we did dominate the 2nd half but again scoring is a problem and our defence had gone soft. 1, Whylie never stopped chasing and needs a goal for confidence but could be useful. 2, Hutton looks good going forward and our best defender. 3, Clarke keeper made a good save off Jayden in the 1st half could have been a different game if that had gone in fine margins.
1. Wylie never gave up but as Geoff said above he needs a goal 2. Hutton 3. Clarke Three home defeats on the spin without ever being outplayed. Being undone at both ends of the pitch by poor moments in key parts of the game. Every individual error in defence seems to be resulting in a goal against whilst at the other end nothing is falling for us. Apparently Newport had 4 shots last night I can only recall the 2 they scored with, in the 2nd half they barely ventured in to our half. To be fair they were 2 goals ahead and didn't need to, but they were no great shakes in fact I would suggest that they were worse than Accrington who were awful! Helped again by officials who were at best inconsistent both 6 & 23 committed several fouls that were worse than the one Clark was booked for but only got 1 yellow each. 23 was excellent throughout but lucky to stay on pitch for the foul on Gbode made having already been booked. Based on performances we look a mid table side, earlier in the season we were winning matches that we maybe got the rub of the green in, and now we can't buy a break. We have won 6 and lost 6 if they had been equally spread across the 13 games, which they easily could have been then Bonner would be under less pressure, but right now Swindon looks like a match he can't afford to lose. They really are out bogey team not beaten them at home since 1984! (they were out of the league for a long time, but we haven't beaten them since they were promoted) On another sad note it now appears that one of the our fans racially abused the keeper what is wrong with these people.
