A dogged team effort to stop the opposition (( whilst not creating much ourselves. ))...A scrappy game where nobody will be remembered !
I will give credit ( and position No. 1 ) to Lapslie - not just because he scored - but because he showed professional pride by wanting to play and give 100% to a team that will discard him when various other midfielders are available.

Fair enough praise mate. Have tbph I'd forgot all about Lapslie until he come on and bagged that. I couldn't make out if it was going in from Ogie's hard graft but on double checking it was J Clarkes assist and Laps makign sure of it. Then the other substitution Hawkins nearly doubled the lead in the last minute...

Lee pointed out on twitter, that's six goals now across 2 league games and 1 League Cup, all six by different scorers.

Didn't see the game as it wasn't selected for sky+ / our home game in a fortnight has been. So from twitter highlights...

    1. Lapslie for the goal and me forgetting about him!
    2. J Clarke for the assist
    3. Hawkins for rattling the crossbar, not forgetting his solitary consolation against Swansea in midweek.

The last time I counted, 4 + 1 = 5 ...... but if you ask a train driver or a doctor, it might be something different........
....did you see what I did ? - I didn't count the mickey mouse cup game - they wont get us promoted.
