    Really enjoyable game.
Gills were excellent first half and looked like going in at half time with the lead. Then the ref decides to give a foul to Mansfield and about to book Coleman but then sees Mansfield take quick free kick to score. Terrible decision.
Second half Mansfield were very good and should have scored again but for many last ditch blocks and Turner saves.
Final score 1-1 which was probably the right result in the end.
Some very good performances from Gills players
Could easily chosen 3 different players
    1 Mahoney
    2 Coleman
    3 Bonne.

We know who it wasn't !!
    1. Turner - really good saves in the 2nd half ( including an unbelievable 'double-save.'
    2. difficult choice - several contenders. - going to give it to Jefferies.
    3. Bonne -- I have not rated him - but he gave a good effort ( against constantly being fouled. ) - took his goal very well... I hope tht gives him the confidence to score many more.

Ok I will keep this simple and it's for the away commentary team for Mansfield who said the Gillingham fans don't know the rules. <laugh>

In the second half you also said that we probably got confused with the spray paint....right listen up fellas, watch the below video clip between 9-10 seconds, you will see a YELLOW CARD - if you don't I suggest you get yourselves down to specsavers!...

And as for the rules, once you've got your new specs, I suggest you read below:

Rules: 'Once the ref has decided to caution a player, play must not be restarted until the sanction has been administered, unless the non-offending team takes a quick free kick, has a clear goal-scoring opportunity AND the ref has not started disciplinary sanction procedure'

Yes, they can take a quick freekick but not if ref has started the cautioning, which he had from my view - card out, player turning etc

So sorry guys it's CHEATING it's also unsportsman like, but you didn't seem to care about being sporting in the commentary either. So you are nowt but a bunch of CHEATS!

Mansfield deserve no credit for that game whatsoever.

    1. Mahoney
    2. Bonne
    3. Jommy Williams I actually lost count how many times he was fouled by the CHEATS, and each time the ref failed to take any action, there were at least two unpunished fouls by the CHEATS before the said incident.

I think that appropriate punishment for the referee would be to make him VAR official for Liverpool's next game.

1, Bonne thought he lead the line well and took his goal like a natural striker would like to see Nadeson start with him on Tuesday.
2, Turner made some important saves if he could just improve his kicking.
3, Mahoney looked dangerous down the flank set up the goal.

Thought it was a great game with 2 good sides shame the ref spoiled things with his awful decision to allow their goal to stand although they were good for the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half felt we were hanging on.

    1. Jefferies - Performance matches how much we've missed his energetic spark
    2. Turner - Save after save.
    3. Bonne - Finally scored, lets hope this allows him to kick on now.
