    A far better performance by the Gills, refreshing to see us dominate a side and deserve the victory, my top 3 were:
    1) Dom Jefferies
    2) Tom Nichols
    3) Shaun Williams

    brb - you missed an absolute treat !
    1. Galinson - for splashing the cash.....Not something Scally managed in 27 years.
    2. Galinson - for catching the ball when it got booted up in the stand ... Not something Scally has managed in 27 years..
    3. The chap who was successful in the cross-bar challenge at half time --- Scally would need more than 27 years to manage it..... (( I'll 'let it go ' one of these days - just give me another 27 years. ))

    1. Nichols - because he scored, he gets my No.1, just ahead of
    2. Hawkins - very impressed with his work rate and awareness - and link up with Nichols
    3. Jefferies - one of the 'originals' ( who I would have kept. ) - Has improved each game.. Great work rate - and improving ball skills - with a lovely goal to top a super performance.
    4...... Collectively - the rest of the side.....I think the addition of 2 or 3 players with genuine ability, has helped ALL of the side to express themselves in a more positive fashion........ There is little excuse ( if any ), why the style / tactics cannot be used in all the remaining games.
