    1. Morris - for the very late save he made.
    2. The 137 Gills fans who made the trip.
    3. Bradford City & Notts County - for ensuring that Morecambe & Carlisle remain in the bottom two.

The result was fair. The game was scrappy. Both teams were poor. Both sides were/ are devoid of quality. The playing surface was terrible. The entertainment value was zero.
I can understand why Hawkins was brought on late in the game - but - why have him at Left Fullback ? He failed to cut out two crosses (( as I screamed for 'engagement'. )) The first led to Grimsby's goal. The 2nd should have seen Grimsby fans running to the toilets as they wet themselves with laughter at stealing a win in the 97th & 99th minute !!................. and Dieng should have scored with his header... Little's header was also a very decent chance.
    .......... now - where do I go to vote for goal-of-the-month ?

    1. Morris, another outstanding save and one that brought home at least a point
    2. Agbinone, showed the energy that is often missing in the team, but don't worry we will soon knock that out of him. For some reason players start with this kind of energy, but there has to be a mentality somewhere in the dressing room that soon destroys those capable of standing out.
    3. Gale, I couldn't decide between him or a choice between Gbode or Ogie, the reason I've given it to Gale, because the rot began as soon as he departed the pitch. Absolutely stupid substitution or did I miss something like an injury.

I think Grimsby at least deserved the draw, even if we felt robbed at the end, we should know by now the gods are never on our side when we get to the 97th minute, but we don't deserve to win, when in our last two games we've needed own goals to get us over the line.

That's six games now without us scoring a goal....hang on I'll repeat that, SIX games! The last time we scored was Lapslie who has left the club lol, next then Clarke who never even got on the pitch.

    Shambles.

There has to be something very wrong behind the scenes for players to become shadows of their early showings in such a short time. Hutton for example......

Fair play to the gaffer, he put his hands up, can't really ask for more than that - I felt the decision was terrible, but he acknowledges that...

    1. Morris- Without his saves we would have lost that game.
    2. Gale- Solid debut, I did call before the game that we should shift Ogie over to left back and bring him or Giles so I'm happy to see that he was given a start. Hopefully he stays in the team and doesn't just get shifted out after a few games like Webster did!
    3. Gbode- This was pretty hard as it was between him and Ogie who I feel both worked pretty hard! But I've decided to go with Gbobe for his work effic. I do agree he's not at the standard of player that we need to in the team however I feel he makes up for that with his effort.
I do feel he's better out wide though and would work better if we had Clarke on the other side.

Little mention for Agbinone, I feel he's going to be great for us as long as he doesn't get injured. However I don't think he suited the conditions on Tuesday but it will be a good test for him seeing as it's only his second ever professional start.

I hope before deadline day we see at least two more additions to try and bring some more creativity and pace to this team.

Personally I do feel we could do with another forward, centre back and left but I do doubt we will see three more additions. I guess it all comes down to whether we can shift a few players before deadline day and I really doubt that anyone will be wanting any of our deadwood!

fell asleep so poor, poor, poor I mentioned in a recent post the whole team needs replacing, something behind closed doors is not right.
After we managed to stay in Div 2 nothing has been right since, now 3 gaffers latter we are still not scoring.Last two results we have drawn and the opposition has scored all the goals.
Home to Notts tomorrow, we don't have a chance, I feel, with 20 games to play our season is over, hopefully we stay in Div 2 another new Gaffer and a NEW TEAM.
We need a team who want to fight and are proud to wear the shirt on their back. Give the supporters and the owners some respect and results
