I didn't see the game tonight, so will leave it to you lads. Nice to see us return to winning ways, and look forward to your thoughts on the top three. I'll be back for viewing the Cup game on Saturday.

one of these days I may write 'seriously.'..... oh look, I just did !

    1. Kirk ..... How could you possibly miss such an open goal ?
    2. Powell... Your efforts were nearly as bad as Kirk.
    3. Mandron.. You obviously had a pre-transfer agreement to make every effort to NOT score against The Gills.
    4. Ainley.... yes, I haven't forget your wastefulness.....

    ..... thanks - to all 4 of you !

    ok - seriously:
    1. Graham..... if you saw the game, you'll know why.
    2. Tucker...another good game - including several important tackles and 'blocks'
    3. Akinde - purely for scoring Gills first league goal in over 8 hours......... otherwise I'd have given it to Lumley.

This is difficult as the whole team are deserving of a mention.

    1. Lumley.
    2. Graham.
    3. Tucker.

Just looking at the two comments re our star player selections, it's clear Graham is way ahead once again. Fair play also to Lumley who came in as a emergency loan, demonstration of pride in what he does, whereas normally we expect players to perform for the badge on the front of their shirt. <applause>

2Graham. Great control and cross for goal.
