Firstly apologies to windyrog, but the video twitter clips are not available for cup games.

    1. Tucker, covers so much ground and is maturing well in his role, my way of saying respect to the lad.
    2. Sithole, I just feel it would be wrong to leave out the goal scorer on this ocassion, especially as he came on as a sub.
    3. Chapman. I'm not accepting Cheltenham scored and tbph it bugged me for the rest of the game, so as far as I'm concerned he kept a clean sheet!

I really couldn't make a lot of sense of yesterday's game, and I came away frustrated with the way we played and the outcome of the game. From where I was sat, it looked as though, Jackson (I think it was) made a perfectly good goal line clearance. I accept maybe I'm wrong, but Cheltenham deserved nothing from this game and it's not often I say that about the opposition.

Loose balls...run for them.....let me repeat, run for them! @alwaysright often says on here, it's not the losing that hurts (or draw in this case) but the not trying! I'm not going to sit here and slag the player off, but I honestly wanted to go over to him at the end of the game and just ask a simple and polite question, 'why were you not running for the loose balls?' - that's not rude or impolite, the player may even have a valid reason for not trying. YOU know who you are.

The manager has done a great job at the club, better than expected, he achieved more than I ever gave him credit for before his confirmed arrival. But it's now becoming stale and for that reason alone, and no other, maybe it's time for change. I'm concerned that some of the not running for loose balls, is in someway linked to the gaffer. I'm generally wrong, but it don't mean I don't have emotions, and what I saw yesterday was certainly worth no more than the tenner I paid.

Thankfully match day is about the whole match day experience for me, and due to friends and beverages a good day was had, it's just something about walking in Priestfield now, the air has a feel of dispondency. I did my bit, I shouted, I clapped, I cheered, I never boo....we need to somehow get the magic back in the place.

brb - your loyalty does you credit - and with every respect to you (( outside of Priestfield )), you are like me - STUPID ..........and our peers are becoming a dying breed.
I know perfectly well who runs and who doesn't --just for once, I will not come out with the obvious- but - all of a sudden, J E-T seems as if he is Usain Boltesque by comparison.

    1. Sithole - Constantly looked a threat after he came on and wanted to make things happen. Took his goal well and for me warrants a starting place now.
    2. Akehurst - Again really looked like trying to make things happen. Didn't look out of place at all and even bigger credit to him that he's still a youth player not even on a professional contract yet. Also nearly scored the winner.
    3. Jackson - Did his job relatively well. Possibly could have been sent off for an off the ball incident but I didn't feel troubled when he was attacked. Also a lovely ball in for the goal.

Oliver & Tucker worked their socks off once more. Also can't help but feel sorry for Dempsey at times, all the quality in the world but not enough around him to help him out. Reeves also was solid enough.
