    Not easy as it was a pretty poor performance on the whole. On the Channel 5 goals show they commented that perhaps the players were tired after 5 games in 15 days, but if that were the case then why did SL start with a virtually unchanged team for the 4th game in a row (Martin in for the ineligible Reilly)? And why did he only make 2 substitutions? All in all pretty unsatisfactory. The pitch didn't help, but as is always said, it's the same for both teams.

    1 Ehmer - spectacular goal line block in 2nd half was only a fraction of his effort. Was usually in the right place at the right time, and distribution was generally good.
    2 Wagstaff - brought some energy to the right side in the second half, and actually made inroads into the Bury defence
    3 Hessenthaler - still think his performances in midfield go unappreciated by many.
